How to Read the Liquidation Map

The left panel shows recent BTC candles for the selected timeframe. The right panel shows estimated liquidation clusters at each price level — bars extend inward from the right. Use both together to spot where candles have stalled or reversed near a high-liquidation zone.

Red Bars

Long Liquidations Below Price

Red bars below the current price are long liquidation clusters. If price drops into a tall red bar, forced selling from liquidated longs can accelerate the drop further — a cascade. The taller the bar, the more capital at risk at that level.

Teal Bars

Short Liquidations Above Price

Teal bars above price are short liquidation clusters. If price rallies into a tall teal bar, forced buybacks from liquidated shorts add buying pressure — often causing a sharp short squeeze. Price can spike well above resistance into these zones.

Yellow Bars

High Liquidity Zones

Yellow bars mark the densest liquidation clusters — the levels with the most money at risk. These act as price magnets. Markets are frequently pulled toward these zones as market makers and institutions hunt for liquidity before reversing.

Candles + Bars

Reading Both Panels Together

Look at where recent candles have bounced or stalled relative to the liquidation bars on the right. A candle wick touching a yellow bar and reversing is a strong signal — price was pulled to that liquidity and then rejected once the liquidations were triggered.

Cascade Risk

Liquidation Cascades

When price enters a dense cluster, forced liquidations hit the market. This extra supply (long liq) or demand (short liq) pushes price further — hitting the next cluster and triggering another wave. Look for stacked tall bars in the same direction for cascade risk.

Model-Based Estimation

This map uses Binance public futures volume data and a leverage distribution model to estimate liquidation clusters. It does not use real live liquidation feeds (which require paid API access). Treat these as probability zones, not guaranteed price magnets.
